Description
A belt built around authentic Amish-made breeching D hardware traditionally used on draft horse harness.
This oversized solid brass ring comes from equipment designed for Clydesdales and other draft horses pulling heavy plows and wagons. The scale is intentional, created for strength, reliability, and daily agricultural work where failure was not an option. The form has remained unchanged for generations and carries that working heritage into everyday wear.
This version features a hand-applied vintage finish created in Texas. Vegetable-tanned leather is dyed, conditioned, and aged by hand to create depth, variation, and character from the start. No two pieces finish exactly the same, and the leather continues to darken and develop a natural patina over time.
Solid brass hardware develops its own character alongside the leather, creating a natural pairing that improves with years of wear.
Production remains intentionally limited due to seasonal leather sourcing and small-batch finishing.
A black version is also available, finished in a more uniform tone while retaining the same heritage construction.
